The company was founded in 2007 and has been regulated by the Cypriot financial regulator CySEC since 2011. Despite its international orientation, the broker is still relatively unknown in Europe. XM (formerly XEMarkets) is a Cyprus-based forex and CFD broker founded in 2009 and regulated by the Cypriot financial supervisory authority CySEC. XM is also regulated by the British Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and is registered there as a financial services provider.
