CMC Markets is a broker that has been active in the market for many years, since it was founded in 1989. It is a special CFD broker that has chosen London as its headquarters. CMC Markets has clients in over 100 countries and in 2013 was able to handle more than 31 million transactions with a volume of over 1.2 trillion US dollars. ActivTrades was founded in Switzerland in 2001 and is one of the leading brokers for trading currencies and CFDs on indices, stocks, commodities and crypto currencies using the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms as well as its own ActivTrader. In 2005, ActivTrades moved its headquarters to the financial metropolis of London, where it has since been supervised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
