AVATrade (founded in 2006 as AVAFX) is part of Dublin-based AVA Capital Markets Ltd. and offers clients trading currencies, stocks, commodities and indices. AVATrade is regulated and monitored by the Irish financial supervisory authority IFSC. AVATrade offers also a trading platform with either MetaTrader 4 or the in-house platform AVATrader. ActivTrades was founded in Switzerland in 2001 and is one of the leading brokers for trading currencies and CFDs on indices, stocks, commodities and crypto currencies using the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms as well as its own ActivTrader. In 2005, ActivTrades moved its headquarters to the financial metropolis of London, where it has since been supervised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority.
