ActivTrades was founded in Switzerland in 2001 and is one of the leading brokers for trading currencies and CFDs on indices, stocks, commodities and crypto currencies using the MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms as well as its own ActivTrader. In 2005, ActivTrades moved its headquarters to the financial metropolis of London, where it has since been supervised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. Alpari is a British FX and CFD broker based in London. Private investors have access to trading with several dozen underlyings via several trading platforms and account models. In addition to STP and ECN trading, the service also includes spread betting accounts. The minimum deposit for ECN accounts was set very low at 200 Euros.
